Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWork as part of a scrum team focused on infrastructure automation or cloud foundations
Work attached to a development team as an SRE or DevOps Engineer•Install and Configure automation platforms such as Ansible Tower
Work with architects to create designs and identify opportunities for automation
Work with client engineers to demonstrate best practices for Ansible development through paired programming.
DrivingStability and Reliability inititives to increase theclient‘soverallapplication availability
Building tooling needed to improve performance and operations efficiency
Enhancing monitoring and management tooling to better detect, diagnose, and correct problems
Resolution of problems in code for an incident, when applicable
Documenting defects to communicate back to the Service Owner(s)
Driving the transformation of delivery methods into the operational teams such as network, database, system administrators, Incident management
Enabling a Chatops approach to services delivery for client success
Ensure Blameless RCA resolution to get to, and correct, the source of issues and outages.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Ability to propose and justify strategic technology decisions
Experience creating business cases for major technology change
Experience creating new operating models for technology teams/organizations
Deep technical knowledge of several of our practices’ key technologies:oAmazon Web Services (AWS)of Kubernetes (Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, Rancher, or OpenShift) RedHat Ansible Tower or Terraformo Google Cloud Platformorm Microsoft Azure
Experience leading teams (not necessarily management)
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal presentations•Interpreting requirements and creating solutions
Able to develop infrastructure automation in Go or Python as either a Kubernetes operator or on technologies
Working knowledge of Containers; i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
Strong fundamental understanding of all things "IT" (e.g.,‚LDAP, DNS, SQL, TCP/IP, NAS/SAN, Systems Architecture, Data Modeling, Open Source Concepts, Software Development Design, Distributed Computing, etc.)
Experience as a scrum master.
Preferred Technical and Professional ExperienceAgile and DevOps leadership/facilitation/coaching
Facilitating workshops•Hands on experience with key technologies
Advanced certificationon key technologies•Ability to articulate key technologies’ impact on security, availability, cost, capacity, etc...
Experience in Agile (Kanban, SAFe, and Scrum)•Project Management Experience
